The BS-BIOE PreMed at KFUPM offers a unique and competitive pathway for students who aspire to pursue medicine with a strong foundation in engineering. Through a collaboration with King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU), this program equips top-performing bioengineering students with the academic and clinical preparation needed to transition into the MBBS program. Program Admission and Requirements
To apply, fill out the application form. Shortlisted students will be contacted for an interview.
One accepted, you need to:
- Maintain a GPA of at least 3.0/4.0
- Follow the degree plan, and complete the Biochemistry course (BIOL 303 or CHEM 363)
- Pass either the KSAU Placement Exam or alternatively, provide your IELTS scores (minimum overall: 6.5), and MCAT (minimum score: 500)
- Pass the preparatory semester at KSAU during the last semester of your senior year of the BS-BIOE. This semester will be studied at KSAU-Riyadh Campus.
