The general requirements for admission to the program, in addition to any requirements enforced by KFUPM regulations, are:
A B.Sc. degree in natural sciences, mathematics, computer science, or engineering from an institution whose graduate programs are equivalent to those of (KFUPM).
A minimum GPA of 3.00 on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent in the B.Sc. degree.
Official transcripts and degree certificates are required for admission.
Completion of TOEFL with a minimum score of 520 (PBT), 190 (CBT), or 70 (IBT). The TOEFL score must be sent directly to the College of Graduate and Interdisciplinary Studies. IELTS is also acceptable [min 6.0].
Two letters of recommendation, preferably from the faculty who taught the applicant’s graduate courses.
Satisfactorily meet any additional departmental or university admission requirements.
