The Bioengineering Department at KFUPM proudly congratulates our student, Lujain Al-Harbi, and Team Vital7 for securing First Place at Forge’s Reverse Hackathon with an innovative healthcare solution addressing post-discharge patient monitoring.
The team developed an AI-powered healthcare platform designed to monitor high-risk patients after hospital discharge and provide early alerts to clinicians before a patient’s condition deteriorates. What makes this innovation particularly remarkable is its transformation of a Saudi patented monitoring technology—originally developed for the oil and gas sector—into a healthcare solution with significant clinical impact.
Team Vital7 Members:
This achievement highlights the value of interdisciplinary collaboration and demonstrates how Bioengineering students continue to leverage engineering and artificial intelligence to develop solutions that address pressing healthcare challenges and improve patient outcomes.
The Bioengineering Department congratulates Team Vital7 on this outstanding accomplishment and looks forward to seeing the future impact of their innovation.
